About Me
I work with older adults to help them improve their quality of life and face issues related to death and dying, caregiver stress, pain management, communication issues in relationships, and face the big questions of life using their accumulated wisdom to make positive choices.
I work with children and their parents to increase success at school and communication issues at home.
I work with adults facing issues of anxiety and depression and help find ways of coping that are more effective and satisfying.
I work with couples on how to respect each other, improve communication, have good boundaries, work together as team, speak from the heart about what really matters.
I have been providing mental health services for over thirty-five years on Whidbey Island, in Seattle and in Boston. I am licensed by the State of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) 2001 to present. I have a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington 1987. I have been a Child Mental Health Specialist since 1984. I have qualified as a Mental Health Professional since 1989.
